Job Overview:

Walker Automotive, Inc in Clarksville, TN is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Shop Manager and Service Writer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department, as well as providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of technicians and service advisors
• Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of customer vehicles
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
• Schedule appointments and communicate with customers regarding their service needs
• Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for parts and supplies as needed
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in automotive service management or related field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
• Proficiency in computer software and knowledge of automotive systems
• Certification from a recognized automotive training program is a plus
