Walker Automotive, Inc. is looking for a Senior Automotive Service Mechanic to join our family-owned shop in Elkton, KY. Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostics and high-level repairs on engines, drivability, electrical, and brake systems.
Lead by example in shop workflow, safety, and repair quality.
Mentor and guide less-experienced mechanics and technicians.
Handle preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Communicate clearly with team members and service advisors.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
ASE Master Certification required; L1 Advanced Engine Performance strongly preferred.
Proven expertise in diagnostics across multiple makes/models.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff.
Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
