Walker Automotive, Inc. is looking for a Senior Automotive Service Mechanic to join our family-owned shop in Elkton, KY. This is a leadership-level position for an experienced professional who takes pride in advanced diagnostics, precision repairs, and mentoring others. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and high-level repairs on engines, drivability, electrical, and brake systems.

  • Lead by example in shop workflow, safety, and repair quality.

  • Mentor and guide less-experienced mechanics and technicians.

  • Handle preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and performance.

  • Communicate clearly with team members and service advisors.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience.

  • ASE Master Certification required; L1 Advanced Engine Performance strongly preferred.

  • Proven expertise in diagnostics across multiple makes/models.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff.

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
