Your Impact & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Safety
- Final Inspection: Perform comprehensive, hands-on inspections of all mechanical repairs to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Safety Verification: Ensure wheel lug nuts are retorqued to specification and all fluid levels are correct.
- Problem Solving: Identify and correct outstanding issues before the vehicle is cleared for delivery.
- Road Testing: Execute thorough test drives to confirm repair success and document out-mileage.
Diagnostic Support & Documentation
- Electronic Scanning: Conduct and document thorough electronic pre-scans and post-scans of all vehicles.
- Digital Reporting: Use systems like Tekmetric to complete digital QC checklists, including photos.
Technician Apprenticeship & Shop Support
- Rack Attack Inspections: Assist technicians by performing initial multi-point inspections on lifted vehicles.
- General Repairs: Perform light maintenance tasks such as installing cabin and engine air filters.
- Shop Stewardship: Maintain a professional environment by cleaning service bays and organizing tools.
- Career Growth: Earn the pathway to become a trained Automotive Technician with training provided to become the best in the industry.
Vehicle Presentation
- Detailing: Perform a "mini wash" of the exterior and a thorough interior detailing.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven background in automotive service, repair, or quality control.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and diagnostic tools.
- Detail Oriented: An exceptional, methodical approach to inspections and documentation.
- Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Accountability: A high degree of integrity and the ability to take absolute ownership of work.
