Master Automotive Technician

Master Automotive Technician

Walker Automotive, Inc. in Elkton, KY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working on cars, a strong technical background, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our customers.

Pay, Benefits & Schedule:

  • Competitive Pay $80,000 to $150,000 per year (depending on experience)
  • Benefits: Health Insurance, Training (ASE reimbursement), Paid Holidays
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (8AM – 5 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Performing complex diagnostic procedures on vehicles to identify issues and provide effective solutions
  • Repairing and maintaining all types of vehicles, including electrical systems, engines, brakes, and more
  • Performing preventative maintenance on customers' vehicles to ensure optimal performance
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians to help them develop their skills
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician
  • ASE certification or equivalent certification in areas such as engine repair, brakes, and electrical systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
