We are looking for a highly organized, energetic Front Counter Assistant to be the heartbeat of our front office and the ultimate team player for our shop!

?? What You’ll Be Doing:

As our Front Counter Assistant, you will be the crucial link between our customers, our Service Advisors, and our technicians. Your day-to-day will include:

• Being the Ultimate Host: Keep our front office sparkling clean, welcoming, and ensure our customer waiting area is always fully stocked with awesome snacks and drinks! ???
• Delivering 5-Star Service: Help our primary Service Advisor by answering phones, scheduling appointments, replying to texts/emails, and following up with customers to ensure their experience was flawless.
• Mastering "The Walker Automotive Way": You'll track repair orders, keep detailed notes, and proactively update the team on where vehicles are in the process.
• Being a Parts Pro: Order, check-in, and stage parts in designated bins so our technicians never miss a beat. You'll handle everything from receiving shipments and managing cores to pulling daily fluids.
• Keeping the Shop Moving: Jump in wherever needed to keep the energy high and the shop flowing! This might mean running a customer home in the shuttle, dispatching a ticket, or hunting down a hard-to-find part.

?? What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, automotive parts, or a related field where you proved your ability to connect with people.
• Master Multi-Tasker: Incredible organizational skills to handle the hustle and bustle of a busy, distraction-filled shop without breaking a sweat.
• Stellar Communicator: You speak and write fluently, have a great phone voice, and know how to negotiate with vendors.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable on a Windows PC, typing 30+ WPM, and using email/office software. (Bonus points if you know your way around Tekmetric!)
• On the Move: Must be able to physically get in and out of various vehicles, lift parts, and possess a valid driver's license to drive our shuttle with passengers.
